Client Overview
The Bombay Vibes (TBV) is a vibrant modern Indian restaurant located at 1332 Huron St, London, ON, offering inventive twists on classic Indian dishes with a western touch. Rated 4.5 on Google, TBV is known for standout dishes like its signature samosa poutine, sizzling pani puri, paneer bhurji, aromatic biryanis, and a full range of vegetarian and vegan options. The brand needed to scale its digital reach and convert its loyal dine-in crowd into a broader online audience.
The Challenge
Bombay Vibes required a design system that could handle both detailed information and high-impact promotions.
Key challenges included:
- Presenting complex tiffin pricing plans in a clean, readable format
- Balancing informational content with visual appeal
- Highlighting food quality while maintaining brand consistency
- Creating promotional creatives that drive quick decisions
- Designing for both daily meal subscribers and casual customers
The designs needed to be both informative and instantly engaging.
Our Strategy
Viral Food Content Strategy
Developed a Reels-first Instagram strategy centred on TBV’s most visually compelling dishes—samosa poutine reveals, pani puri fills, biryani plating. Each video was edited for the first 3 seconds to hook scrollers and timed to peak-engagement windows (Thursday–Saturday evenings).
Fusion Narrative Branding
Positioned TBV with a distinct brand voice: bold, playful, Indo-Canadian. Content copy leaned into the ‘East meets West’ identity, attracting both the South Asian diaspora and mainstream Canadian food lovers simultaneously.
Delivery Platform Growth
Optimized the Uber Eats listing with updated high-resolution food images, keyword-rich menu descriptions, and combo-deal promotions. Targeted sponsored placements during weekend dinner hours to maximize algorithmic visibility.
Community & Influencer Seeding
Hosted micro-influencer dinners for London-based food bloggers (2,000–25,000 followers), generating authentic Reel and Story content. Also ran targeted Meta ads within 10 km of the restaurant, A/B testing food imagery vs. customer reaction videos.
